Who we are
Dashfit is provided by EFN Group LLC ("EFN," "we," "us," or "our"). Questions about this policy can be sent to main@efngroup.biz.
Camera and body-pose processing
Dashfit uses your iPhone camera to recognize full-body movement for gameplay. Camera frames are processed on-device with Apple's Vision framework.
- Dashfit does not record camera video.
- Dashfit does not save photos, video frames, body images, or pose coordinates.
- Dashfit does not upload camera video or pose data.
- Camera access can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
Information stored on your device
Dashfit stores preferences and progress locally using Apple-provided device storage. This can include camera choice, movement sensitivity, sound settings, optional manually entered body weight, personal bests, streaks, missions, XP, levels, and cosmetic selections.
Dashfit has no account system, no sign-in, and no developer-operated server behind it. Setup asks for a first name, which is optional; if you give one, it is stored in the same local device storage and used only to greet you on this iPhone. You can leave it blank and use the entire app.
Your name and body-weight values stay on your device. Selected usage and workout totals are sent as analytics as described below. Delete the app to remove its local preferences and progress. Apple may retain information in device backups according to your iCloud or device-backup settings.
Apple Health
Apple Health integration is optional. After a completed non-tutorial run, Dashfit may ask for permission to:
- Read body-mass samples to show your weight history and improve calorie estimates.
- Write a completed Fitness Gaming workout and estimated active-energy sample.
- Write body weight you manually log in Activity when Health sharing is allowed.
Health information is handled through HealthKit on your device. EFN does not receive it and does not use it for advertising, marketing, or analytics. You can change Health permissions in the Health app or iOS Settings and remove written samples in the Health app.
Game Center
Game Center is optional and operated by Apple. When you connect, Dashfit may temporarily display the Game Center profile name and avatar Apple provides, load leaderboard entries and achievement progress, and submit score, distance, and achievement percentages to Apple.
Dashfit does not create a separate social account, persist Game Center player identifiers off-device, or send Game Center information to EFN. Apple processes Game Center information under Apple's privacy policy. You can manage Game Center from iOS Settings.
Notifications and sharing
After Dashfit Pro becomes active, Dashfit requests quiet provisional notification authorization and enables local training reminders at your chosen training time. Reminders do not use remote push. Training reminders follow your plan and pause when training is paused or the day's session is complete. Full Coach mode may also send occasional rest-day notes. An eligible free trial can receive a separate trial-end reminder. You can change the time or disable reminders inside Dashfit or in iOS Settings.
Sharing a run is optional and user-initiated. Dashfit passes the selected result to the iOS share sheet; the destination you choose handles it under that service's terms and privacy policy.
Purchases and Dashfit Pro
Dashfit requires a Dashfit Pro membership. Purchases are made through Apple and billed to your App Store account; EFN never sees or stores your payment details, and Apple processes the payment under Apple's privacy policy.
To check whether a membership is active, Dashfit uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-scoped identifier together with purchase information from Apple, including the product and its purchase, renewal, and expiration dates. Dashfit does not attach your name, email, Apple ID, camera data, gameplay data, or Health records to RevenueCat. Restoring purchases may reconnect your Apple transactions with an entitlement.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Dashfit uses Mixpanel to understand feature use, workout engagement, and technical reliability. Events are tied to a random identifier created on your device and include:
- Usage events, such as opening a screen or completing onboarding.
- Fitness and gameplay totals, such as workout duration, training minutes, completed sessions, jump and squat counts, jogging steps, score, and virtual distance.
- Technical diagnostics, such as camera error codes, interrupted tracking, and storage or Health-save failures. These events do not include Health sample values.
- App and device context, such as app version, iOS version, and device model.
- Membership facts, such as subscription state, selected plan, trial length, and displayed offer prices.
Dashfit does not attach your name, email, Apple ID, body weight, camera footage, body-pose frames, or Apple Health records to analytics. IP-based geolocation is disabled. Dashfit contains no advertising SDK, does not access the advertising identifier, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Children
Dashfit is a general-audience fitness game and is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor's use and make sure the play area is appropriate. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information that requires attention.
Retention, deletion, and choices
Dashfit has no developer-held account to delete. Mixpanel retains the analytics events described above, and RevenueCat retains purchase records under app-scoped identifiers. Deleting the app does not itself erase records already held by these services or Apple's purchase records. Contact us with privacy or deletion requests so we can explain what records can be located and removed. Your available controls are:
- Delete Dashfit to remove its local preferences and progress.
- Manage camera and notification access in iOS Settings.
- Manage or delete Health data in the Health app.
- Manage Game Center information through Apple.
Policy changes
If Dashfit's data practices change, we will update this policy, revise the effective date, and update the App Store privacy disclosures before releasing the affected app version.
